Natural diamonds have always marked life’s biggest celebrations. Today, they are also becoming part of the most personal, everyday expressions.

The stepping stones for the Design Impact Programme were laid in 2019, with the Design Impact Awards. It is a grant programme for product design that drives social impact in the country. With the tough criteria of having a prototype ready, the programme received 993 applications. These went through an engaging jury process and resulted in eight grant winners, each of whom have unique projects underway. The Design Impact projects are slated to impact over 57000 lives and save over 80 Lakh litres of water over the period of the grant. The winning products are Zerodor, Anupath, U sense, Nanosoultion, Catheter Reprocessing System, Greenhouse in a Box, Shira Clamp, and Neomotion.
