Skill Development for Employability

Low levels of employability among a significant percentage of engineers graduating every year is a known fact. While there is no shortage of jobs, employers are keen to hire better employable engineers. In partnership with Anna University, Asia's largest technological university, a further 15 colleges across Tier 3 and Tier 4 towns, Titan conducts aptitude, life skills, new-age technology, interview skills, and behavioural skills training. Third and final-year students attend these, after which placement programmes are facilitated with Anna University and potential employers. ITI certificate holders are highly coveted in the manufacturing and service industries but are generally unemployable due to a lack of basic qualities and foundational skills. This programme aims to give them a rounded training on life skills, workplace readiness skills, and interview skills to make them acceptable in the job market.
