Skill Development for Livelihood and Entrepreneurship

A key part of Titan's Skill Development for Livelihood and Entrepreneurship is a project to train 300 women across ten villages of Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu. A Federation was formed to market the agri-produce and targets to make at least 200 of the female beneficiaries into lakhpatis. The project is now titled 'Lakhpati Vivasayis'. The project was layered with additional support to women from migrant families (a COVID response initiative), and resulted in benefits for 65 households. A group entrepreneurship project is also being implemented in the Mysore district to enable women to build a successful business of making and marketing savouries.
