But how did we get here? Mia, as you know, is committed to empowering women to shine brighter in their respective fields. Serving as a pivotal force in fostering self-expression and resilience, Mia has emerged as a steadfast companion for women of all ages and professional pursuits. Mia’s focus on celebrating women in sports, acknowledging and honouring their relentless pursuit of excellence, began with our association with four eminent athletes for the Tokyo Olympics. Looking back at the love and appreciation we received, we knew we wanted to strengthen our footing by championing sportswomen, whose indomitable spirit shines as bright as a star, even further. It gave voice to two things: raise awareness about the role of women in sports and inspire the next generation of women athletes. The opportunity to partner with the women’s RCB team for the first edition of WPL presented itself last year - and with the team’s commitment, unwavering dedication, resilience, and ground-breaking achievements on and off the field, we were delighted to power through with our association this year too! With RCB clinching the title this year, we believe it opens up a new era for women athletes in India.
